Personal Info!

I have a Bachelor of Arts, History from Binghamton University, and a Master of Arts in American History from The University at Albany.

Everyone who knows me knows that I'm a political and news junkie. A close friend has said that my worst nightmare is not that the world may someday end, but that if it does, I will be the last to know.

Get Dilbert!! My students are often subjected to my jokes. I hope that my website will help make up for that. Therefore, please click here to see the Dilbert Zone, the site devoted to one of the better comic strips out today.

In the area of popular music, there is little on the radio dial to get excited about. Commerical radio in the New York area has finally completed its inexorable decline into utter uselessness. My favorite program is Vin Scelsa's Idiot's Delight, broadcast Saturday nights at 8PM on WFUV. (90.7 FM) You can find the playlist for his show other information by clicking here.

WUSB, 90.1 FM is the radio station of SUNY-Stony Brook. They provide a wide variety of music and public-service broadcasting, including web-casting from their site.

WHRW-90.5 FM, Binghamton is the student-run radio station at Binghamton University. I spent four fun years there, learning about music, politics, and people. Besides an overview of the station history, programming, and personality, this site also contains links to many music-related sites.
Moe would be proud.

BRRRRUUUUUCEAnybody who has known me since I was twelve knows that I am a big fan of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. Click on the image to go to his official web site.

Most of my students also know that I am a big fan of the The New York Yankees, The New York Islanders, The New York Giants, and The Brooklyn Nets. All teams are mentioned often enough in class to merit inclusion here.

This site was created on a Macintosh. As my students, friends and colleagues know, I am a fierce partisan of Apple Computers. Most people have to use a PC. I GET to use a Macintosh!!
